Afsoon Sanei, MSW Field Placement Student

St. Lawrence Place welcomes a new MSW intern from the University of South Carolina this semester.  Ms. Afsoon Sanei joined our team in January 2014 and will complete her field hours in May.  Working with Afsoon has been a great learning experience for myself and the SLP team as we are more aware of how we interact with our clients to make sure that she gets a useful learning experience.  Learning about Afsoon’s culture also makes us see things in a new perspective as she gives us her thoughts and opinions on how to assist our clients.  Here is a little about Afsoon:

Come out and volunteer at the 5th Annual Race for the Place to help support the homeless families and programs of St. Lawrence Place!  You can choose from a variety of volunteer opportunities: work the course (direct participants and cheer them on!), work a water stop, help with registration, collect participant chips at the end of race, or come help set up and break down. Sign up to volunteer at eventbrite.
