As you read this, Lila Anna Sauls and I are living it up in NYC! Just kidding! We are leaving for NYC tomorrow morning, but we’re actually attending the annual Beyond Housing conference put on by the Institute for Children, Poverty and Homelessness (ICPH).

Every year at the holidays, Eastminster Presbyterian Church hosts an amazing event for homeless and impoversished children in the Midlands, called Circle of Giving.
Each child in attendance gets to choose gift items for their immediate family members, and have the items wrapped up to take home and give at Christmas. This event means so much to those who have so little. The children are excited to be able to give gifts to their parents and siblings, and the mothers and fathers cherish the items they receive from their children.
Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers that make this event possible for our children and families!
