We are happy to report that our residents have completed their first book for the St. Lawrence Place “By the Book” book club for the year!

For the past 5 years St. Lawrence Place has been the lucky recipient of 50 shoe certificates to be used at Payless Shoe Stores to purchase new shoes for the children and teens living in our program.

Students from Richland One’s Heyward Career & Technology Center volunteered on recently in the children’s library, organizing books and cleaning shelves. While doing this, they noticed that our books were overflowing!

Did you know the St. Lawrence Place Team can be a bit curious…and sneaky? We’ve patiently watched the progress on Live Oak Place, our sister affordable housing project next door, since last fall, so when we saw the front door was open this afternoon we just couldn’t help ourselves.
