Kids Create: Fun Run Excitement! (video)

On Saturday, February 9th, over 55 children under the age of 12, (including some of the children currently living at SLP), participated in the Race for the Place Fun Run to benefit St. Lawrence Place.  Click below to view brief videos of the start line for the 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, and 1 mile Fun Runs!

Race for the Place 5K & Fun Run Wrap-Up (Pictures)!

A huge thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, and participants that made the 2013 Race for the Place such a success.  We had over 330 participants in the 5k and Fun Run!  We also had a couple former SLP residents participate, as well as some current SLP residents and children.

Homeless Point in Time Count- Why It’s Important for the Community

As members of the Midlands Area Consortium for the Homeless (MACH), agencies like St. Lawrence Place participate in an annual Point in Time Count of the homeless population living within the 14 counties within MACH (Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun, Chester, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lancaster, Lexington, Orangeburg, Newberry, Richland, and York).
