The SLP families recently attended a production of Mary Poppins at Town Theatre.  The show we saw benefited Family Shelter & was specifically opened to residents of local homeless shelters in Columbia–we love supporting other local agencies who serve homeless families!

This past week our children participated in a music camp held at Rehoboth United Methodist Church.

On July 17th, the teens at St Lawrence Place held a carwash to raise funds for future activities. The event was a resounding success, raising $230.00. This could not have happened without the hard work and effort of the teens, SLP staff, and those of you who stopped in for a quick vacuum and wash. We would like to send out a huge thanks to all those who made this event a success. And please forgive us if I failed to recognize anyone.

Greetings from the Teen Program! The teens are enjoying some down time since the conclusion of the school year. Though the summer is not all fun in the sun time, our teens have been volunteering at various organizations throughout the Midlands. This past Friday, they had the opportunity of working for a wonderful organization, the Harvest Hope Food Bank (HHFB).
