St. Lawrence Place

A place of hope, healing and change

The St. Lawrence Place Program

Getting into the program
The qualifications process at St. Lawrence Place is extensive, thorough and indicative of the level of commitment between our program and our families. To be considered for the program, homeless families must:

  • Consist of at least one adult who is either birth parent or legal guardian of a child or children under the age of 18

  • Be drug and alcohol free for the past six months
  • Be currently employed
  • Be at least 21 years of age.

The programSun
Once placed in a St. Lawrence Place home, family members are required to participate in counseling and life skill classes such as budgeting, parenting and credit repair.

To stay in the program, families are required to actively participate in the life skill classes, remain employed, properly maintain their apartments, pay their bills in a timely manner, and demonstrate progress in their individual family life plans.
