April Dream Dinners

This month's event will take place Monday, April 19th from 4-6 PM at the Dream Dinners inside the Piggly Wiggly on Forest Drive.
Contact Becca at 256-3999 or bsmith@stlawrenceplace.org to order pre-made dinners, or to make a reservation to make them yourself. All 3-serving meals are $10 and 6-serving meals $20, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit St. Lawrence Place.

STEAK SALSA VERDE
Kick off the grilling season with this colorful Dream Dinner. These juicy aged steaks are garnished with a Spanish influenced salsa of green herbs, Dijon mustard and a hint of fresh lemon. It's an easy, yet elegant dinner for family or friends.

CRISPY COCONUT CHICKEN WITH JASMINE RICE
Our all natural chicken breasts are coated with a crispy, toasted coconut crumb topping. Simply bake the chicken until golden. Serve with Jasmine rice and our sweet and sour dipping sauce (provided).

BEEF PASTA BOLOGNESE
Our Beef Bolognese is a classic Italian favorite. Slow cooked marinara sauce is loaded with chopped tomatoes, garlic, Italian spices and chunks of tender beef. Combined with penne pasta (provided) this is a hearty, fuss free Dream Dinner you can serve time and time again to smiling faces.

CREAMY CHICKEN RISOTTO
Your family will think you've been cooking all day. Creamy rice is tossed with chicken, bacon and vegetables, then finished with a rich spoonful of Alfredo sauce and Parmesan cheese for an easy, elegant Dream Dinner variation on a popular Italian classic.

CHICKEN YAKITORI OVER RICE
This traditional Japanese favorite starts with lean strips of chicken breast quickly stir-fried, then simmered in a velvety sauce infused with white wine, soy sauce, sesame oil and a touch of ginger and brown sugar. Garnished with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and served over steaming Jasmine rice (provided).

PEACH PECAN FRENCH TOAST
Perfect for a Sunday morning or Mothers Day brunch. Caramel sauce, peaches, brown sugar, cream cheese and French bread are baked in a creamy custard. This is all put together and ready to pop in the oven so your family will wake to tantalizing aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. We promise this dish tastes as delicious as it sounds! (6-serving only)

MANDARIN CHICKEN WITH CITRUS VEGETABLES
This chicken is bright, quick and kid friendly. Boneless chicken breasts pan fried then cooked in a garlicky lemon sauce balancing the sweetness of a touch of sugar with the contrast of soy sauce, garlic and lemon. Served with our NEW Chef Touched Mandarin Citrus Vegetables.

TANGY DOWN HOME PORK CHOPS
Lean, moist and tender boneless pork chops are cooked until golden brown, then simmered in a sweet and sour sauce of apples, brown sugar, raisins and spices, and brightened with just a hint of cider vinegar. Truly a winning combination!

THAI FUSION SHRIMP
Red and green bell peppers add flavor and color to this unique shrimp dinner with orange and peanut overtones. Serve this over rice (provided) for another quick dinner solution from Dream Dinners.

SIZZLING CHICKEN TORTILLA BAKE
One-dish dinners are great to have on hand for a quick and easy dinner or take to a special gathering. This is one the whole family will enjoy. With layers of corn tortillas, chicken, tomatoes and rice, all topped with cheese and baked to a golden brown. For added ease this dinner can be baked from frozen.

GREEK CHICKEN WITH PARSLEY AND PENNE PASTA
We've brought a little of the Greek isles to your dinner table! Our boneless chicken breasts are quickly pan fried, then simmered in a sauce of tomatoes, rosemary and Kalamata olives . With the addition of feta cheese for creaminess the whole family will enjoy this dish served over penne pasta tossed with olive oil, parsley and garlic (provided).

CANADIAN BACON STUFFED FRENCH BREAD
A Dream Dinners’ signature sandwich, crunchy French bread is spread with a savory cream cheese blend then layered with sausage crumbles, lean Canadian bacon and Swiss cheese. This sandwich is wrapped in foil and ready to heat in the oven until the filling warms and melts to perfection. Camping? This sandwich cooks up on the grill too!

ARROZ CON POLLO
Rice, black beans, corn, natural chicken breasts and zesty red salsa are layered, then topped with cheese and baked until bubbly and golden brown. A one pan meal that is quick to fix, a Dream Dinners' Signature dinner for the last 7 years!

CHICKEN PARMESAN WITH GARLIC BREAD
Our easy pan version of this classic recipe. All natural chicken breasts are layered with a traditional Italian breading and topped with our flavorful marinara sauce. Finished with a layer of Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Serve with our toasted garlic bread (provided). For added ease this dinner can be baked from frozen.

MEATLOAF MILANO WITH MASHED POTATOES
This hearty meatloaf is sure to please the entire family. It’s our classic meatloaf recipe with a generous layer of Gorgonzola cheese for an additional burst of flavor! Topped and baked with a rich marinara sauce and served with a side of our fluffy mashed potatoes (provided). (Pre-made, 6-serving only)

FRUIT STUFFED PORK ROAST
This stunning centerpiece dish is back by popular demand. Our lean, boneless pork roast is stuffed with dried fruit, herbs, savory croutons and pecans. The finishing touch of a maple glaze makes this a treat your family and friends will remember. (Pre-made, 6-serving only)
