It is such an amazing opportunity to offer CONGRATULATIONS to some of our outstanding teens on their high school graduations. Graduation is a major milestone is a teenager’s life, taking that next step into adulthood. This post made me think back to my own HS graduation, (not important how many years ago), but the mixed emotions I felt: happiness, pride, nervousness, anxiety. But one thing that was overwhelming, was how proud I was of myself. Though you may have received support and guidance along the way, YOU each crossed this finish line with the hard work & dedication YOU put in. Below are some of our celebrated teens:
Paxton graduated from Lower Richland High School. He is preparing to enter the United States Air Force following his graduation.
Antwan graduated from Spring Valley High School. He is preparing to enter in the United States Army.
Shay graduated from Virginia Western Community College. She will going back to Radford University in the Fall to pursue a Bachelors degree.
Raieshia graduated from River Bluff High School. She is planning to attend Winthrop University.
Graduates, every accomplishment you achieve is added to the world’s accomplishments. Your individual successes benefit society as a whole. Just yesterday you were in the nest; just learning how to fly. Now it’s time to spread your wings and head for the sky!
